SCOUTS

In 1927, the Principal reported that he had established a branch of the Junior Scout Movement in the College for younger boys under the direction of Mr Wright and several senior boys. It was noted that they were planning to camp on the Barwon Heads land and that they had formed an honour guard for the visit of the Governor, Lord Somers at Speech Day. In 1928, the scout patrols competed for the Donald O’Sullivan Cup. After the departure of Mr Wright at the end of 1929, no further mention of Scouts appear in Pegasus until an announcement in 1965 of formation of a scout troop.
