T A KELSALL MEMORIAL SEAT

The T A Kelsall Seat is a substantial brick and stone seat located on the southern side of the Chapel at the Senior School Campus. It was erected in memory of Thomas Hastie Kelsall (1919-1941) an ‘Old Collegian’ who was killed in an aircraft accident in Southern Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) while on active service in July 1941. It was unveiled by the donor R M Forster and dedicated by Chaplain Colonel Stewart on 7 December 1943.
