ESSEX, Noel


Noel Essex, sculptor, created 'Sic Itur' a sculpture donated by the Old Collegians’ Association to commemorate 21 years of co-education at Geelong College. Noel works mainly in stone and has created commissioned works in Geelong, Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. Based at Ocean Grove he has exhibited in other states and in Europe. He first studied sculpture at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) before establishing his studio at Ocean Grove in 1986.
