Sculpure entitled 'The Tumblers' by Noel Essex.

This sculpture entitled 'The Tumblers' by Noel Essex, was presented to the College by the Old Collegians' Association in 1996 to commemorate 21 years of co-education. It is located on the south facing wall of the Science Block classrooms on Noble Street and noticeable as you enter the school from the street.

The six individual large curving black and white stone forms are fashioned from Pendhurst basalt and white Wombeyan marble from New South Wales (NSW). The work represents six gymnasts reaching and stretching and depicts both genders equally and harmoniously spread across the composition. The total weight of the work is just over 1 tonne.
