Peter Rosson, artist, worked at Geelong College in 1995 as an artist-in-residence. He had also been artist-in-residence at the College in 1978 and at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School in 1986.

Together with students Anna Mitchell, Jack Chisholm and Tracey Pocock, he created the montage that was formerly on display in the south-eastern stairwell of the administration building at Senior School in 1995. The montage was removed from display in April 2019 when the Coat-of-Arms Tapestry was moved to the stairwell from Morrison Hall.

Peter Rosson was born on 9 February 1954 and educated at Geelong College from 1959 December 1971. At College, he was a member of the Athletics Team for three years from 1968 to 1970, the 1st Football XVIII in 1970 and 1971, and was a House Prefect in 1971. He graduated with a Diploma in Art and Design from Deakin University in 1975. He had lectured in Peace Studies at Warrnambool TAFE, and in Painting at Gordon Technical Institute 1992-94. He died on 12 July 2002.
